I Have a Dream.

I have a dream that I am a bird,

I fly anywhere, to the top of the world.

I fly in the day,

I fly in the night,

I’ll fly in my own way,

So high and so bright.

I have a dream that I am a cat,

I’ll sleep through the day,

And play in the night.

The world is my novel,

The days are my chapter,

I’ll fill my book with cheers and laughter.

I have a dream of a world filled with war,

Of death and dismay,

I never yet saw.

Children are screaming,

Parents are crying,

But it’s not just a dream, it’s real, they’re dying.

I have a wish that the world will get better,

The fighting, the crying, the death will all stop,

Our guns and our weapons,

For life we will swap.

I hope that one day my wish will be seen,

Then we can all stop living a dream!
